Nishant Pitti had announced plans on Monday evening to sell his remaining 14% stake in the Easy Trip Planners via block deals. However, he could only manage to sell 1.4% of that stake on Tuesday.

The company has announced the appointment of Rikant Pitti, on of the promoters of the company, as the new CEO with immediate effect.

CNBC-TV18 had reported on Tuesday about the Pitti's earlier stake sales, where he had sold 14% stake in the company via block deals in September last year.

Back in June 2023, Pitti had sold 6.25 crore shares of the company. In an interaction with CNBC-TV18 back then, Prashant Pitti had said that the company's promoters have no further plans to sell any more stake in the company.

Shares of Easy Trip Planners are currently unchanged at ₹15.86.

This is a developing story.
