US President Donald Trump stated that no country is exempt from addressing alleged unfair trade practices, despite exemptions for smartphones, computers, and other electronics from reciprocal tariffs.

US President Donald Trump on Sunday said no country is “getting off the hook" for alleged unfair trade practices.
His remarks came after smartphones, computers and other electronics were exempted from the ‘reciprocal tariffs’.
However, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has said tariff exemptions announced Friday on electronics like smartphones and laptops are only a temporary reprieve until the Trump administration develops a new tariff approach specific to the semiconductor industry.
