Age Criteria for Applicants
Candidates applying for the principal position must fall within the age range of 32 to 50 years. Conversely, for all other positions, the age requirement is between 21 and 38 years. Objective of the Recruitment Drive
The primary objective of the OAVS recruitment drive in 2024 is to address the urgent need for 1,342 teaching positions across various subjects, including PGT, TGT, Art, Computer, among others. The selection process will entail assessing candidates through a computer-based test (CBT), followed by interviews and document verification. Application Fees
For the OAVS recruitment in 2024, candidates falling under the General or unreserved category are required to remit an application fee of Rs 2,000. Conversely, applicants belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories will incur a reduced fee of Rs 1,250. Additionally, for teaching posts specifically, General category candidates must pay Rs 1,500, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates will be charged Rs 1,000.
