The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced the results of the Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam today, March 8, 2024. Students who took the exam can check the result from the official website at ntse.scertodisha.nic.in.
Students along with their parents can access the Odisha NMMS 2024 results by logging in with their unique credentials, including application number and password.

The NMMS scholarship examination for the year 2024 took place on December 3, 2023.
The NMMS scholarship examination occurs annually with the aim of offering financial support to economically disadvantaged students. Successful candidates are granted a yearly scholarship of Rs 12,000 for a duration of four years, spanning from Class 9 to 12. As per the merit list released by the SCERT, a total of 3,313 students have successfully passed the NMMS examination for the academic year 2023-24.
Exam Pattern

The NMMS for the academic year 2023-2024 comprised two papers:
Mental Ability Test (MAT): This section contained 90 multiple-choice questions, each with four options, focusing on reasoning and critical thinking. Candidates had 90 minutes to complete this section. The questions covered various topics such as analogy, classification, numerical series, pattern recognition, perception, and identifying hidden figures.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT): This section also included 90 multiple-choice questions, each with four options, drawn from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics. Candidates had 90 minutes to complete this section.

Step 2. On the homepage, go to 'NMMS' tab
Step 3. Enter the login details such as the application number and password
Step 4. The Odisha NMMS result will be displayed on the screen

Qualifying Marks
The passing criteria for the General and SEBC categories stands at 40% in total marks across both the MAT and SAT papers. However, for reserved categories such as SC, ST, and PH, the qualifying threshold is lowered to 32% across both papers combined. The Merit List will be compiled based on the cumulative marks obtained by candidates in both papers.
State Quota of Scholarship for Odisha
A total of 3314 scholarships will be allocated across 30 districts. These scholarships will be distributed among candidates from various categories, including General, SC, ST, SEBC, and Physically Handicapped, with allocations made on a district-wise basis.
