The OnePlus 15R India launch is this week and we are just a few days away from seeing the new R-series model announced in the market. OnePlus launched the premium 15 just a few months back, and now we will be seeing the mid-tier premium R model.
The OnePlus 15R India launch is confirmed for December 17, 2025 and the company is hosting an offline event in Bengaluru to announce a slew of products. OnePlus is likely to price the 15R around Rs 45,000 in the country.
OnePlus 15R is going to feature an AMOLED 1.5K display with support for up to 165Hz refresh rate like its flagship cousin. The device will also get IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for the first time.
OnePlus is using the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset to power the 15R and we expect the phone to have up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. We also can expect the OxygenOS 16 version to be offered out of the box.
OnePlus 15R will have a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The front is confirmed to have a 32MP shooter with 4K video recording support and autofocus support.
OnePlus 15R is confirmed to feature the biggest battery from the brand at 7,400mAh with support for 80W wired charging speed heavily tipped.
