Pakistan has alleged that India 'killed its civilians' — a charge that falls flat as JeM chief confirmed that 10 family members were killed in Operation Sindoor.

Former Pakistan Air Marshal Masood Akhtar said that Islamabad needs to think what should be its next move, considering the strength of the Indian Army.

Pakistan’s desperate attempts and overnight attacks on India have left its retired army officers jittery. A one-minute clip from Pakistan’s Dawn TV is being widely shared on social media, where a retired army officer admits that they have a force of just six lakh soldiers. “India has an Army of 16 lakh, ours is just six lakh. No amount of ‘ghazwa’ (battle) will save us," he said.

Former Pakistan Air Marshal Masood Akhtar further said, “Our leadership’s job is to look into the future. The scenes are worrisome. We have no answer to it. And the situation is worsening. De-escalation won’t happen till America puts pressure. On four instances, India had planned to launch massive attacks…We really have to think what we have to do else the situation will further worsen for us."

Pakistan government has been launching missiles at India and resorting to heavy shelling on the border in the garb of action against New Delhi after it “killed civilians and citizens on May 7" — a charge that falls flat as Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Masood Azhar confirmed that 10 family members and four close associates were killed in India’s missile strike.

The Indian government has said that at least 100 hardcore terrorists, with links to banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen, were killed in the precision strikes. The military action was measured and the targets were selected based on credible intel.

The military action, named Operation Sindoor, was launched to avenge the slaughter of tourists in Pahalgam. India’s Opposition parties too have praised the government.

Sanjay Jha of JD(U) expressed contentment that terror camps associated with all significant attacks in India since 2001 had been dismantled.

AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi praised the armed forces and the government for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor. He emphasized the need for an international effort to target The Resistance Front, a Lashkar-e-Taiba proxy, and urged the UN Security Council to classify it as a terrorist organization.

Owaisi also suggested that the United States should recognize it as a foreign terrorist group. Some opposition members called for initiatives to maintain communal harmony.
