The Delhi Police on Thursday registered an FIR against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi accusing him of physically assaulting BJP MP Pratap Sarangi during a clash in the Parliament premises. The complaint was filed on the basis of the complaint given by BJP MPs Anurag Thakur and Bansuri Swaraj.
According to sources, the Delhi Police has taken a legal opinion regarding the matter since Rahul Gandhi is a Lok Sabha member.
It has been learnt that several sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) have been imposed against Rahul Gandhi.
