PM Modi US Visit LIVE Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a three-day visit to the United States on Saturday, where he will participate in the Quad Leaders’ Summit and address the UN’s Summit of the Future. The Prime Minister’s agenda includes a meeting with US President Joe Biden to review and deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.

Modi said in his departure statement that he was eager to engage with fellow Quad leaders. “I look forward to joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese, and Prime Minister Kishida for the Quad Summit. The forum has emerged as a key group of like-minded countries to work for peace, progress, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region,” he said.

During his visit, Modi will also address the Indian diaspora in New York and meet with CEOs of leading US companies to explore collaborations in areas such as AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. “I am eagerly looking forward to engaging with the Indian diaspora and important American business leaders, who provide vibrancy to the unique partnership between the largest and oldest democracies of the world,” he added.

The visit also includes Modi’s address at the Summit of the Future, where he plans to share the perspectives of one-sixth of the global population on securing a peaceful future. “The Summit is an opportunity for the global community to chart the road ahead for the betterment of humanity,” he said.
