The Punjab Police Recruitment Board (PPRB) is scheduled to begin the registration process for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024 today, February 14. Interested candidates can apply for the recruitment through the official website at punjabpolice.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the application process for the recruitment will be active from March 14 to April 14, 2024.
The recruitment board aims to fill a total of 1746 Constable posts through this recruitment drive. Out of these, 970 are for District Police Cadre, while 776 positions are allocated for the Armed Police Cadre.
Age Limit
Eligibility criteria
regarding age shall be as follows:
Minimum age as on January 1st, 2024 - 18 years.
Maximum age as on January 1st, 2024 - 28 years.
Educational Qualifications
i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University.
ii) In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.

Step 3. Register yourself and fill out the application form
Step 4. Download and take a printout of the registration form for future reference
Selection Process
Recruitment to fill vacancies in both cadres will be conducted using a unified Common Application Form (CAF) and a Common Computer-Based (CBT) process, followed by a Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT) with predetermined qualifying criteria.
