Q1 Banking Results LIVE Updates: The quarterly Super Saturday is here on Dalal Street with a slew of major banks set to report their June quarter results today. Historically, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and to a certain extent, even Yes Bank, have all reported their results on the same Saturday more often than not. Today, they are being joined by three other lenders, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Punjab & Sind Bank. While HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank and Yes Bank have all come out with their provisional business updates, the street will be keenly awaiting commentary on asset quality, margins, the ECL provisioning impact and in case there is any stress that will emerge from the rural portfolio considering the uneven impact of the monsoons. ICICI Bank has been the most resilient among the lenders, outperforming them in terms of returns, HDFC Bank has started to play catch-up after multiple overhangs were cleared.
