Ramesh Bidhuri Accuses Atishi's Parents Of Supporting Terrorist Afzal Guru

Launching a fresh attack on Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri accused her parents of supporting terrorist Afzal Guru.

Speaking at an election rally in the national capital, Bidhuri who is a candidate of the BJP from the Kalkaji constituency in the Delhi Assembly elections, said that the parents of Atishi had written to the then president, appealing to him to stop terrorist Afzal Guru’s execution.

The BJP leader made the allegations almost two weeks before the Delhi assembly elections which are scheduled to be held on February 5. The election results will be announced on February 8.

Atishi’s Parents Have ‘Anti-India Mentality’: Bidhuri

Bidhuri, who is a former BJP MP, said that the parents of the chief minister had an “anti-India mentality". He further accused them of becoming the protectors of those who carried out the Parliament attack.

“Atishi’s parents were writing letters so that Afzal Guru was not hanged. Atishi’s mother organised a condolence meeting for Afzal Guru," said Bidhuri.

This is not the first time Bhiduri has attacked Atishi, who is running against him from the Kalkaji constituency for AAP.

The BJP had earlier said that Atishi has not interacted with people in the last four days and keeps on roaming “like a deer" in the city to get votes.

He had also said that the AAP leader had “changed her father" which sparked a row as Atishi faced the accusation of changing her identity to make political gains.

Meanwhile, Atishi accused the nephew of Bidhuri of intimidating and assaulting the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

The chief minister wrote a letter to an Election Commission officer in which she complained that Bidhuri’s nephew carried out hooliganism in the Kalkaji constituency and tried to influence the electoral process.
