Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Friday, August 29, announced that the company will form a joint venture with Meta to build and scale enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for India and select international markets. He described the partnership as a “game changer” at the company’s Annual General Meeting, underlining its potential to accelerate digital adoption across industries.
Both companies have committed an initial investment of about ₹855 crore (US$100 million), with RIL holding a 70% stake and Meta the remaining 30%. The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2025, subject to regulatory approvals.
