Meghan Markle was seen signing a gift basket containing “homemade strawberry sauce”- for podcast host Jamie Kern Lima- with the HRH title.

Prince William reportedly plans to strip his younger brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of their HRH titles once he inherits the British throne from King Charles III. A royal insider told the Daily Beast, “Charles might be happy to put up with this, but William won’t"- referring to Meghan Markle’s use of her HRH title alongside her lifestyle products.

“He loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body, he believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him", the insider said as per the report. 

The source claimed that Meghan Markle is in violation of an agreement with the late Queen Elizabeth II in using the HRH title- which stands for “Her Royal Highness"- while promoting her personal brand.

Meghan Markle Exploiting King Charles’ Weakness?

A friend of Prince William’s told Page Six that in continuing to use the HRH title, Meghan Markle is exploiting King Charles’ weakness. The insider said, “Charles has completely lost control" as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “every intention of making his final years a misery."

“Meghan using her HRH exposes how weak and enfeebled he is. She knows he won’t do anything. There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is king. A way will be found," the source told the outlet. 

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Stepped Down As Royals In 2020

Since stepping back as senior royals in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have firmly established their lives in Montecito, Southern California. Their family has grown with the arrival of Prince Archie, now 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Meghan, 43, has also embarked on new ventures, recently launching her Netflix docuseries “With Love, Meghan" in March and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, on April 2, which has already seen success with sold-out items like raspberry spread and lemon ginger tea. Despite some critical reception, her Netflix project has secured a second season.
