Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are past the halfway mark of the day's trade and the markets are trading with some resurgence, with Nifty trading with a rise of around 170 points, inching towards 24,000. The Nifty Bank index is up over 350 points, rising towards the 58,100 mark with a jump of 850 points. Dr Reddy's lab, Tech Mahindra and ICICI Bank are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is the second half of the day's trade, and building on the momentum, the market looks to make major gains.
The market is looking to mark a recovery from the colossal losses from the previous session. The Nifty is cautiously trading with a rise of around 170 points, aiming for the 24,000 mark. The Sensex is up over 700 points, rising to 76,900.
As for Nifty, reclaiming that 23,800 level and maintaining it at closing will be the first target of the bulls before seeking a move back to the 24,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank is also pushing itself, aiming for higher levels of over 58,000.
After ending at the day's low, the Nifty Bank is back at the lower end of the 57,000 - 58,000 range, one that the bulls would want to defend before the truncated week ends.
