Despite this recovery, the market texture remains wary and chartists see a bullish trend emerging only on a sustained move past 24,000.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Two things will make the bulls feel relieved more than happy. One, the fact that the May series low was defended on Tuesday, and two, that buying interest continues to emerge at the 23,200 - 23,250 zone, which is where most of the recent lows have been capped. After the expiry moves, the bulls will now look to sustain above the mark of 23,500 and reclaim the losses made over Friday and Monday.
Despite this recovery, the market texture remains wary and chartists see a bullish trend emerging only on a sustained move past 24,000. While the May series low of 23,262 and the intraday low of 23,222 remain key lower down, the 23,700 - 23,800 zone will be keenly watched on the upside. The Nifty IT will have to be watched as well, as its RSI on the charts is nearing "overbought" territory.
Same is the case with the Nifty Bank, with 1,000-point intraday moves becoming common. Stocks like NHPC, Canara Bank, Adani Ports, Restaurant Brands Asia, and others will be in focus.
