Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty Bank, which saw some profit booking on Friday after a rally of nearly 3,000 points, continues to remain the index which could do the heavy lifting. It continues to remain in the 57,000 - 58,000 range and also managed to defend the support level of 57,500 last Friday.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets return after the weekend break with the Nifty bulls fighting to hold on to the 24,000 mark, a level they managed to sustain as of Friday's close due to the FTSE and Sensex rebalancing flows. The focal points though, remain IT, which were a major drag on the markets on Friday, and Reliance Industries, as brokerages react to their AGM and Jio's filing of IPO papers.
The Nifty Bank, which saw some profit booking on Friday after a rally of nearly 3,000 points, continues to remain the index which could do the heavy lifting. It continues to remain in the 57,000 - 58,000 range and also managed to defend the support level of 57,500 last Friday.
For the Nifty, the 24,000 remains the key level, followed by 23,800 on the downside, while on the upside, the 24,150 - 24,250 zone will be a key congestion point. Global developments continue to be monitored amidst the US-Iran talks, and threats by US President Trump.
