Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading around to the 25,200 mark, after hitting the mark for the first time since July 24. The index is holding onto an uptick of over 120 points. The Sensex index is up nearly 450 points. The Sensex index is inching above the 82,200 mark. Kotak Bank, NTPC, and Powergrid are among the major gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading once again on the rise after trading on a relatively cautious note. The Nifty 50 is trading with gains of just about 120 points, trading around the 25,200 mark. The Sensex index, on the other hand, is trading above 82,000, with an advancement of about 450 points
The Nifty Bank, moving past the lull, is now trading with minimal gains, surging past the 55,000 mark. On account of the upcoming discussions with the US, the textile stocks are rising.
In the broader market, the Nifty Midcap 100 index is up about 180 points, along with the Nifty Smallcap 100 index, trading with similar gains, thereby almost matching the levels of frontline indices.
The Nifty India Defence stocks have recovered from the initial losses to come back to the green.
Some of the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks are Godfrey Philips, Redington, KPR Mill, NTPC Green, Medanta are among some of the biggest gainers.
