Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Some of the buzzing stocks include the likes of Apex Frozen Food, Sonata Software, VST Tillers, Man Industries, Yatra Online and Medi Assist. Apollo Hospitals, Hindalco and ONGC are among the final few Nifty names reporting results today.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: After a volatile start to the day, benchmark index Nifty 50 has slipped to near the day's low. The key support level is 24,500, which is near the 100-day moving average. The immediate resistance is 24,700, the high hit on Aug 11.
The Nifty index is currently below the 24,600 mark, with a decline of around 40 points. The Sensex is down about 150 points, falling towards 80,400. The Nifty Bank is trading with a deficit of about 0.40%.
The shares of Yatra Online are up 15%, rising for the second day in a row. The shares of Praj Industries have fallen a mammoth 50% from their peak.
Today is also the Sensex weekly expiry. Apollo Hospitals, Hindalco, and ONGC are among the final few Nifty names reporting results today, along with a host of Defence and Railway PSUs like RVNL, HAL, Cochin Shipyard and others.
