Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Markets resume trading after a mid-week holiday and the penultimate trading day of the week promises to be nothing short of action. Further downward pressure on the Nifty could bring the October 17 lows of 25,508 into play.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Today will be the weekly expiry of the Sensex contracts. The Nifty has declined in three out of the last four trading sessions and the bulls will not be pleased as supports have failed to hold and every recovery is getting sold into.
Markets resume trading after a mid-week holiday and the penultimate trading day of the week promises to be nothing short of action. Further downward pressure on the Nifty could bring the October 17 lows of 25,508 into play.
On the upside, 25,650 - 25,700 will be the first level to watch for the index, while the 25,750 - 25,800 range may remain a barrier. Watch for the Nifty Bank as well as the index failed to close above 58,000 on Tuesday. There are plenty of earnings reactions today, from IndiGo to Sun Pharma, Britannia, BEML, among others.
Also watch for Asian Paints and Grasim due to the CEO exit at Birla Opus, while Hindalco will be in focus due to the multiple downgrades after Novelis results. Aarti Industries, ABB, ACE, Amber Enterprises, Apollo Hospitals, Bajaj Housing Finance, DAM Capital, Devyani , Godrej Properties are some stocks reporting results today.
