Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading on a volatile terrain. The Nifty index is trading in green with gains of about 60 points, around 24,650. The Sensex is also in green, up nearly 200 points. The index is below the 80,300 mark.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is currently trading with minor gains of around 60 points, trading above the 24,600 mark. The Indian markets are trading after passing a period of volatility. The Sensex index is also trading with gains of 170 points. The 30-stock index is above the 80,300 mark.
The Nifty bank index after trading with major cuts in the previous sessions, is the only silver lining, with a rise of 0.18%.
In the broader market, the midcap and smallcap indices are still holding tight, fighting the volatility. The Nifty Midcap index is trading gains of 0.31%. It is the Nifty Smallcap 100 index that is putting up an even better performance, with a 0.62% gain.
Some of the major volume buzzers among the Nifty 500 stocks include TBO Tek, Piramal Pharma, PNC Infratech, Indus Tower, ITI, and Metropolis among others
