Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It's the Nifty expiry day session, and we gear up for yet another intense day of trading. In today's session, the markets will take a cue from the previous session, which saw the Indian markets on a resurgent path as the Nifty index surged over 170 points and now is inching closer to the 25,900 mark. If the index maintains the lead, it could hit the coveted 26,000 mark for the first time in over a week.
The Asian markets continue to trade higher, with the Nikkei up another 2%.
Wall Street exhibited relative calm, with the Dow Jones scaling a record high mark, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq also ended in green.

Some of the companies reporting their results today include Apollo Hospitals, Afcons Infra, Britannia, Chambal Fertilizer, Eicher Motors, Jubilant Foodworks, United Breweries among many others.
