Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the red. Nifty 50 closed at 22,913.15, while Sensex ended at 75,735.96.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended lower. Asian stocks were trading in a tight range in early trade today.
Nifty is flat for the week, while the midcap index is up 3% and the smallcap index is up 2%, so far. The two broader market indices are poised for the best week since the beginning of December 2024.
The Nifty FMCG index has been in the red for 14 consecutive days, its longest losing streak ever, which has resulted in the stocks losing up to ₹3 lakh crore in market capitalisation.
Apart from FMCG stocks, NTPC Green Energy, Vedanta, RVNL, Gamco Ltd, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Tata Steel, JM Financial, M&M Financial, ITI Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HG Infra, ONGC, ACE, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare India, CIE Automotive India, are among the stocks in focus today.
