Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 opened today's trade session session 3,086.95 points below its record high of 26,277.35.
Nifty 50 closed the previous session at 23,246.15, while Sensex ended at 76,295.36.
Overnight, Wall Street indices witnessed their worst sell-off since 2020. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended nearly 1,700 points lower, S&P 500 was down nearly 5% and the Nasdaq Composite declined nearly 6%.
It remains to be seen if the Indian markets will continue to show the same resilience as Thursday, post US President Donald Trump's tariff announcements.
