Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 22,544.70, while Sensex ended at 74,340.09.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended lower. Nasdaq dropped 2.6%, the Dow Jones ended 430 points lower and the S&P 500 fell 1.8%. Asian equities were in the red in early trade today.
The US will release its nonfarm payrolls data and trade deficit data, while the European Central Bank will also decide on its interest rates.
As of Thursday, Nifty has gained 1.8% and the Midcap index is up 2.8% for the week. Meanwhile, the smallcap index has nearly recovered its last week's losses as it is up 4.5%, this week, as of Thursday.
BEL, Laurus Labs, Kalpataru Projects, Gensol Engineering, RVNL, RITES, Brigade Enterprises, Biocon are among the stocks in focus today.
