Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: At the halfway mark, the Nifty 50 index is trading in green with gains of 0.16%, or 40.65 points, taking the overall value to 25,143.85. The Sensex index is also in the green, trading with minor gains of 41.49 points, or 0.050%, taking the overall to 82,486.70.

At the halfway mark, the Nifty 50 index is trading in green with gains of 0.16%, or 40.65 points, taking the overall value to 25,143.85. The Sensex index is also in the green, trading with minor gains of 41.49 points, or 0.050%, taking the overall to 82,486.70.
The Nifty index has largely vacillated between the 25,100-25,120 levels for most of the trading day.
The Nifty Bank index, after hitting a record high in yesterday's trading session, dipped on Tuesday, slipping to 56,625.90, declining by 213.70 points, or 0.38%.
The Indian markets started the day on a positive note, falling in line with the cues ahead of the market.
The Nifty index started the day at 25,196.05, ahead of the previous day's 25,103.20. The index started the day 1,081.3 points away from its all-time high of 26,277.35.
The Sensex also started in green at 82,643.73, higher than its previous day's closing of 82,445.21.
The Nifty Bank started the day in green at 56,993.90, continuing with its progress seen in the previous sessions.
Protean eGov shares jumped 4.5% after ₹100 crore from BSIF.
Shares of pipes manufacturer Jindal Saw Ltd. gained up to 10% on Tuesday, June 10, after announcing new capex plans across the Middle East.
The Nifty Midcap 100 index rose by 0.18%. Here, amongst the midcap companies, Premier Energies shares rose by 4.40%. The shares of Persistent Systems rose by 3.84%. Adani Total Gas shares rose by 3.58%.
