Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are looking to close another week in green, as the Nifty surges over 150 points, rising towards 24,000. The Nifty Bank is up nearly 900 points and is now aiming for 56,000. Asian Paints, Shriram Finance and Axis Bank are amongst the major gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates:The Indian markets are moving away from the recent pain, as the Nifty surges nearly 200 points, jumping towards 24,000. The Sensex index is also up, rising over 650 points, aiming for 77,300.Heading into the weekend, traders may want to remain light on positions considering the ceasefire uncertainties. The IT stocks, Midcap and Large Cap stocks are under pressure after TCS announced its results.
For the Nifty, Thursday's low of 23,682 remains key, while 24,000 on the upside remains a barrier.
The Nifty Bank failed to defend 55,000 on Thursday but remains comfortably higher for the week. HDFC Life, Poonawalla Fincorp, Eicher Motors are some other stocks that should be on your radar.
