Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 ended the previous trade session 2,632.45 points below its record high of
26,277.35.

Overnight US benchmark indices witnessed a fall. Dow Jones extende its two-day drop, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell for the third day each. Asian equities too were under pressure in early trade today.

Important macro cues will emerge as the week goes by. Starting the new year, companies will begin presenting their quarterly business updates, while auto companies will share their sales figures for December and for 2024. The manufacturing and services PMI for December is expected as well.

Bank stocks, ITC, Easy Trip Planners, Lupin, Mazagon Dock, Hindalco, Adani Green Energy, Prataap Snacks are among the stocks in focus today.
