Stock Market Live Update: Nifty 50 opened today's trade session 3,817.05 points below its record high of 26,277.35.

Futures in the US markets continue to trade with steep cuts.

Meanwhile, the RBI MPC has cut repo rates by 25 bps to 60% and changed its stance to 'accommodative' from "neutral" currently.

Today is also an important day for the Nifty as it is the day of its weekly options expiry. Stock exchanges will remain shut on Thursday, April 10, on account of Mahavir Jayanti.
