Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex opened today's trade session in the green. Nifty 50 opened at 24,488.75, while Sensex opened at 81,036.22.

Nifty below 24,450, Power Grid, Bajaj Auto top losers

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 opened today's trade session 1,788.6 points away from its record high of 26,277.35.

Overnight, Wall Street indices witnessed a choppy and mixed trade session. While the S&P 500 ended just above the flat line, the Nasdaq Composite outperformed with 0.4% gains and the Dow Jones underperformed for the second consecutive day, ending 80 points down. Asian equities fell in early trade today.

M&M, IndiGo, Honasa Consumer, Defence stocks, Kaynes Tech, Reliance Power, EPACK Durable, ONGC, IEX, RVNL, are among the stocks in focus today.
