Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: We are in the second half of the day's trade, and the it only seems to be getting worse for the market and the bulls. There does not seem to be any respite yet, as markets trade under pressure again. The Nifty is down to 22,500 with a fall of about 300 points. The Nifty Bank is down 250 points, falling further away from 55,000. ITC, Bajaj Finserv and SBI Life are the major laggards.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets are only sinking further in the deep red bearish market. The indices are under pressure yet again, and no respite appears in sight. The Nifty is down over 300 points, falling below the 22,300 mark. The Sensex is also down, falling over 700 points, dropping to 72,300.
'The Nifty managed to defend 22,600 on the downside on Wednesday and any slip from those levels would make 22,500 a key level to watch. The 22,700 - 22,800 zone is where supply emerges and the bulls would want to reclaim and sustain above that to move back to the 23,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank index is also down, but is holding a better shape, and is down half a percent.
The Nifty Bank, stronger among the two, would want to build on its close above 55,000, with 54,500 now looking like a strong support. TCS kickstarts the Q2 results season today with GM breweries. Also keep an eye on Senco Gold, Jubilant Foodworks, TD Power, Ola Electric and others.
