Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty is above the 24,550 mark, after surging by over 70 points. The Sensex index is up above nearly 200 points. NMDC Steel have risen by over 12% after the company announced its Q1 results. Apollo Hospital and ONGC shares are trading with gains after their respective Q1 results.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are trading with renewed optimism as the Nifty index is up over 100 points. The Sensex is also in green, rising by over 230 points.
The Nifty banking index is also trading in green with a rise of just about 0.18%.
When we look at some of the buzzing stocks, the shares of NMDC Steel have risen by over 12% after the company announced its Q1 results. Apollo Hospital and ONGC shares are trading with gains after their respective Q1 results.
When we look at the broader markets, the Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap indices are holding the ground, with the smallcap 100 index up 0.37% and the midcap 100 index up 0.62%.
BPCL, Jubilant Foodworks, IRCTC, Hindustan Copper, ABFRL, United Spirits, and Deepak Nitrite, among other broader market names, will be reporting results today.
