Stock Market Live Updates: After the GST booster, the Indian markets are on the rise. The Nifty index is moving closer to the 25,000 mark, with gains of over 150 points. The Sensex index is also on the rise, with gains of close to 81,200. Mahindra & Mahindra, TVS Motors and Eicher are on the rise, hitting record high.
Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: The Nifty index is rising, with gains of over 150 points; the 50-stock index is trading close to the 24,900 mark. The Sensex index is surging above the 81,100 mark, with an uptick of over 600 points.
The Nifty bank index is also surging after period of decline. The banking index is trading with an increase in value amounting to 0.56%
The auto and FMCG stocks are in focus. The Nifty Auto index has risen by over 2.50%. When we look at the Midcap and Smallcap indices, the performance of these indices is relatively subdued compared to the frontline indices. The Nifty Midcap 100 index is up 0.51%. The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is rising by 0.38%.
Mahindra is one of the biggest names, trading with gains of over 7%. The motor company stocks have also hit its record high. Escort shares price have alos surged.
