Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian market has seemingly recovered from a slump, as the Nifty index is trading around 26,000, with a rise of around 80 points. The Sensex index is up about 300 points, trading around 85,000. Infosys, HUL, Max Health, TCS and Tech Mahindra are among the major gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty, after trading in a volatile space, is now breaking out of the narrow range. The Nifty index has now overcome the resistance at 26,000, to trade close to 26,050.
The Sensex index has also surged with gains amounting to 300 points, jumping to the 85,000 mark.
The shares of one of the newest listings, Groww, have fallen over 10%, hitting the lower circuit for the first time since listing.
All the major indices are trading in a range, in a volatile space. However, the Nifty Bank index is down and is trading with cuts of 150 points.
Nifty Realty and Nifty Media are the sectoral indices that are under pressure, trailing.
Some of the biggest losers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Inox India, KEC , HBL Engineering, City Union Bank, Saregama India, Waaree Energies, and Godrej Agrovet, among others, which are trading in red.
