Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets, as expected, after Trump's comments, are under immense pressure. The Nifty is down over 470 points, falling to 23,600. The Nifty bank is down a major 1,400 points, stumbling at the 55,000 mark yet again. Bajaj Finance, IndiGo and Eicher Motors are amongst the biggest laggards.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets have slumped into the red chasm; the Nifty has fallen over 450 points, falling to the 23,600 mark. The Sensex index is down over 1,500 points, slumping to 76,000.
This comes to pass after the failure of the US-Iran talks in Islamabad over the weekend, followed by US President Donald Trump's threats on the Strait of Hormuz and the subsequent sell-off in US futures, with a rise in crude oil prices.
Both Brent and WTI are back above the mark of $100 a barrel.
The banking index will also be in focus as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Yes Bank report their results this Saturday. With Tuesday being a holiday, today will be the Nifty weekly expiry. Keep an eye on oil sensitivities, Maruti, Jyoti CNC, and broader market names which rallied last week.
