Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are looking to recover on a glimmer of hope. The Nifty index is up nearly 150 points, rising towards the 24,200 mark. The Nifty Bank is up 500 points, looking to regain lost ground. Shriram Fin, IndiGo and Ultratech are amongst the biggest gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets are on volatile terrain while looking to thrive on a glimmer of hope. The Nifty is trading with an uptick of around 100 points, as the index is now approaching the 24,200 mark. The Sensex index is also in a similar position, rising to 78,000 with a 400-point rise.
Today is also the weekly expiry of the Nifty contracts. The not-so-good news is that the situation remains fragile and uncertain.
For Nifty, the intraday low of 23,697 now becomes a make-or-break level for the index to prevent a slide down to 23,200 levels, as many chartists feared. In case the index does move higher today, the first aim would be to sustain above the 24,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank, up over 500 points, is looking to defend Monday's low of 55,270 and sustain above 56,000 on the upside.
Watch out for stocks like Dixon, Eternal, Swiggy, and stocks with exposure to the Middle East like L&T.
