Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty has fallen close to 200 points, falling towards the 20-DEMA. The Sensex is down a massive 600 points, falling below the 81,000 mark. Vodafone shares after making major gains in the previous sessions, is currently trading with losses of 9%.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading with major losses of close to 200 points, falling below the 24,800 mark. The 50-stock index is trading dangerously close to the 20-DEMA mark of 24,737. The Sensex index, on the other hand, has fallen over 600 points.
All major stocks are trading with losses; Acme Solar, Vedanta, Sai Life, Zen Tech are among the stocks that trading with cuts.
While Thursday will also be the final monthly expiry of the NSE contracts on Thursday, before the cycle shifts for the index to Tuesday, and BSE takes up Thursday as the expiry for its contracts. 24,800 - 24,850 continues to remain a strong support, even as banking stocks continue to sulk.
That 55,000 remains an important level to defend for the Nifty Bank. Watch out for stocks like Vodafone Idea on the potential AGR relief, IT stocks on any further follow-up buying and paper stocks that had zoomed ahead on very large volumes.
