Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are looking to mark a recovery from the week's losses. The Nifty is trading around 25,700 and up around 40 points. The Nifty Bank index is on a better footing, jumping over 450 points and trading closer to 60,200. Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Shriram Finance are among the major gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets appear to be en route to recovery; however, the indices have lost their steam. The Nifty index has risen over 40 points. The index is now closer to the 25,700 mark. The Sensex index is also on the rise, rising over 250 points, jumping to 83,800.
The Nifty Bank index has also surged, jumping over 400 points, inching closer to setting a new record high mark.
Banks will be a sector to watch as index heavyweights ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank report results on Saturday. That may invite some caution. Reliance Industries, the Nifty 50 heavyweight, also reports after market hours on Friday. The stock is down nearly 10% from the record high levels it hit on January 5.
