Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets have shed some of the early gains. The Nifty index, after starting in red, recovered to rise by over 160 points, to push past 25,700 mark, a 1-year high. The Sensex index is up close to 600 points, climbing 84,00 mark for the first time 4 months. Asian Paints M&M, Nestle, Axis Bank and Titan are among the big gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty, after a euphoric session yesterday, is now trading with large gains of around 160 points. The index is above the 25,700 mark. This is the highest the index has been in 52 weeks.
The Nifty Bank crossed its all-time high to set a new record, maintaining the impressive run.
When it comes to Sensex, the index is up over 600 points, with the 30-stock index rising over the 84,000 mark for the first time in 4 months.
Mind you, this is just the beginning, as today is an earnings-heavy day, led by index heavyweight Reliance Industries, which will report after market hours.
Over 40 important companies report results today, including REC, IndiaMART, Tata Technologies, Dixon Technologies, Bank of India, CEAT, among others.
