Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index has undercut the initial volatility, with the index moving above the 25,000 mark. The Sensex is up about 100 points. Some of the biggest gainers of the days are Infosys, Eternal, Bharti Airtel, NTPC and Nestle.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty Index, after trading cautiously, is now above the 25,000 mark. This comes after starting the week on a note of optimism for the Nifty bulls with two successive days of gains. The Sensex index is trading with gains of about 150 points and is trading above the 81,800 mark.
The larger markets are also trading on a relatively muted note. The banking index is under pressure, trading with losses of 0.34%, falling below the 57,700 mark.
The Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap indices are trading with marginal changes amounting to under 0.25% and 0.19%, respectively.
FMCG and IT stocks are trading higher, while the Nifty Media, Nifty Pharma and Nifty Health are some of the sectoral indices trading with losses, under pressure.
25,000 continues to remain the key for the Nifty, while 24,750 - 24,850 could act as a support zone on any potential downside.
