Stock Market Live Updates: The Indian markets have gotten off to a historic start. The Nifty index, after opening over 1,200 points higher, is now inching closer to new record high, with a 700-point uptick. The Nifty Bank index is surging with a rise of over 1,500 points and is now above the marquee 60,000 mark. Jio Finance, Bajaj Finance, IndiGo, Shriram Finance, Eternal and Reliance are among the top gainers.

Stock Market Live Updates: The Indian markets, in line with pre-market indications has opened with a bang; the Nifty index opened a record 1,200 points higher. The 50-stock index is now around 700 points above and is in reach of the all-time high mark of 26,373. The Sensex, on the same lines, is a mammoth 2000 points higher, surging towards the 83,400 mark.
The Indian markets are in the all-out bull mode after India-US signed a trade deal, bringing India's tariff down to 18% from the previous 50%.
The export-oriented sectors such as textile stocks such as Gokaldas Exports, Welspun Living and others are surging over 10%.
Some of the biggest volume buzzers among the Nifty 500 stocks include Aarti industries, Balakrishna Industries, PCBL Chemicals, Welspun Living, and Apar Industries among others.
