Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty trades below 24,650; the Sensex index is down under 30 points. The shares of Divi's Labs declined by over 3% after the company announced its results.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: After the RBI's decision to retain the interest rate/repo rate at 5.50%, the Nifty is trading below the 24,650 mark, with a deficit of under 30 points. The Sensex index is trading below the 80,700 mark.
The Indian markets remain volatile, as the RBI governor, in his post-MPC meeting, retained the interest rate/repo rate at 5.50%.
When we look at the broader markets, the Nifty Smallcap and Nifty Midcap indices are trading under pressure. The midcap index is down nearly 400 points, with the smallcap Index slumping close to 1%.
Two big Nifty 50 names, Divi's Labs and Bajaj Auto, announced their results. The shares of Bajaj Auto are moving under pressure after the results. The shares of Divi's slumped by 3.15%.
While continuing to trade with some cuts, the Nifty has been fairly resilient despite the tariff uncertainties, managing to defend key support levels.
Among earnings, Bharat Forge, Pidilite, Blue Star, PFC, IRCON, HUDCO, are some of the many companies reporting results today.
