Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty along with its Asian counterparts, is trading higher as the index is up over 150 points. The index is now above the 26,120 mark. The Nifty Bank index has also joined the force, as the banking index is now up over 250 points. Shriram Fin, Infosys, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and Tata Steel are among the major gainers.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Indian markets are on the rise as the Nifty 50 index has surged past the 26,100 mark with gains amounting to over 150 points. The Sensex index is up over 500 points and is now surging towards the 85,450 mark.
The Nifty has now managed to break past its resistance at the 20-DMA of 26,000, and the bulls would hope to sustain this momentum.
The Nifty Bank index is also powering through, as the banking index is now up nearly 300 points, with the index rising well above the 59,000 mark.
Jupiter Wagons, KSB Limited, GE Vernova, KEC Intl, RVNL, RR Kabel, Force Motors and Shriram Finance are among the biggest gainers among the Nifty 500 stocks.
Four stocks see their lock-in period end today.
