Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 24,641.80, while Sensex ended at 81,526.14.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended largely higher. The Nasdaq Composite ended above 20,000 for the first time, the S&P 500 was up 0.8% while the Dow Jones ended 100 points down. Asian stocks gained in early trade today.
Meanwhile, the US CPI inflation print came in exactly in line with estimates at 2.7%, taking the probability for a Fed rate cut by 25 basis points next week. India's CPI inflation data will be released after market hours today.
Vedanta, Gland Pharma, Nuvama Wealth, Grasim, Bajaj Housing, Shriram Finance, Godawari Power, Greaves Cotton, ACME Solar Holdings, Varroc Engineering, Samman Capital, Reliance Power, Pilani Investment, Ami Organics, PC Jewellers are among the stocks in focus today.
