Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index has surged by over 140 points. The index has surged past the 24,560 mark and is now en route to 24,600. The Sensex index is also up, nearly 420 points. The Sensex has now galloped to 80,200. The tech stocks, namely TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra, are among the gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index is trading with gains of over 100 points, with the 50-stock index rising towards the 24,550 mark. The Sensex index is also surging with gains of close to 350 points, allowing it to regain the 80,000 mark. This surge and renewed optimism come after India's strong GDP numbers.
The Nifty Bank Index is rising towards the 54,000 mark, surging by almost half a percent. This comes after the Nifty Bank corrected by over 2,000 points in the last five trading sessions.
Here, in the broader markets, the Nifty Smallcap and Nifty Midcap indices are trading with major gains, outperforming the marquee indices. The Nifty Midcap 100 index is surging with gains of close to 700 points.
The shares of Ola Electric surged again on Monday, taking the overall surge in the past month of trade to 40%. In addition to that, Gujarat Mineral Development, Godawari Power, Granules India and MCX are among the gainers.
