Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is second half of the day's trade, and the markets have undone the opening losses, and are now back in the green. The Nifty is up over 100 points, rising above 23,100. Tech Mahindra, Infosys and TCS are the biggest gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the markets have overcome the initial volatility and pressure and are now surging ahead in this Friday session. The Nifty has jumped above the 23,100 mark, up over 100 points. The Sensex is up close to 300 points, rising towards 74,600.
23,000 remains key for the Nifty while the bulls would hope that the support now shifts higher to the 22,750 - 22,700 zone.
The Nifty Bank however is under pressure, along with the Nifty Midcap 100, that are moving in he red, with losses of over 100 points.
The Nifty Bank closed above a key level and would now aim to cross and sustain above the 56,000 mark. Also watch for capital market names like BSE, NSE, Angel One and others after the SEBI CAS norms released last night. Also in focus would be Jio Financial, Tech Mahindra, Urban Company and others.
