The Indian markets are trading in the middle of volatility. The Sensex index is also trading with a small dip. The 30-stock index is below the 80,200 mark.
The Nifty bank index after trading with major cuts in the previous sessions, is the only silver lining, with a rise of 0.18%.
In the broader market, the midcap and smallcap indices are still holding tight, fighting the volatility. The Nifty Midcap index is trading gains of 0.31%. It is the Nifty Smallcap 100 index that is putting up an even better performance, with a 0.62% gain.
