Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: It is past noon at D Street, and the markets are moving higher. The Nifty rises over 150 points, rising to 22,500. The Nifty Bank is surging over 200 points, rising to 55,000. TCS, HCLTech and Infosys are the top gainers.
Sensex Today | Stock Market Live Updates: It is past noon at Dalal Street, and the indices, despite having lost some momentum, is still holding onto key levels with strong gains. The bulls are looking to make a comeback as the Nifty surges with gains of over 120 points, rising towards the 22,500 mark. The Sensex is up over 500 points, jumping to the 72,300 mark.
Any move towards 22,500 could see supply emerge as Monday's high of 22,651 is now some distance away. Analysts have warned that a break below that level, could take the Nifty down to 22,100 or even lower. Variables have only worsened if not changed for the better overnight
The Nifty bank is up over 250 points, once again crossing the critical 55,000 mark.
The banking index also defended key support levels on Monday and remains in the 54,500 - 55,500 range.
The market reacts to results from HCLTech, ICICI Prudential AMC, and RBL Bank today, while Tata Elxsi, ICICI Prudential Life, Transformers & Rectifiers among others report results today. Also keep an eye on Polycab.
