Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty Bank, which has been a key contributor to the index upside over the last few sessions, kept the gains in check as the index continued to see profit booking at elevated levels.

The indices opened relatively flat, as the Indian markets started the day with caution amid uncertainties. The Nifty index opened at 25,134.15, higher than its previous day's closing. The Nifty index opened for the day's trade with a deficit of 1,143.2 points. The Sensex index also opened relatively quite at 82,473.02, higher than its previous day's closing.
Caution continues, as global markets continued to await more clarity on the outcome of the US-China trade talks, even as officials from both countries continue to maintain a positive tone.
The Nifty Bank, which has been a key contributor to the index upside over the last few sessions, kept the gains in check as the index continued to see profit booking at elevated levels.
