As the Jeju Air plane crashed in Muan on Sunday, killing 179 people on board, their family members gathered at the airport looking out for their loved ones. One such family member said that they received a message from the person on the aircraft, moments before the crash, informing about a bird hitting the flight’s wing.
“Should I say my last words?" a message on the phone read.
The Last Conversation
A man waiting at the airport for a family member on the ill-fated flight shared the last message he received from the passenger at 9 am moments before the crash.
“A bird struck the wing and we can’t land," the flyer wrote via KakaoTalk, The Korea Times reported.
As the man asked how long this had been taking place, the family member replied a minute later, “Just now. Should I make a will?"
