South Korea will build nuclear-powered submarines and start a new partnership with the U.S. in shipbuilding, artificial intelligence, and the nuclear industry.

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said on Friday that South Korea and the U.S. have finalised a joint fact sheet covering agreements on trade and security after his summit with U.S. President Donald Trump last month.
South Korea will build nuclear-powered submarines and start a new partnership with the U.S. in shipbuilding, artificial intelligence, and the nuclear industry, Lee said during a televised briefing.
Lee met Trump in Gyeongju, South Korea last month and agreed to a deal that will lower U.S. import duties on South Korean products to 15% from the previous 25%.
